Collage

Okay, so, collages.  I know they are kind of middle school art class, but they are really easy and versatile. That is probably one of the easiest and cheapest ways to make wall decoration.  Also, fairy lights.  They don't light up the room much, but they work pretty well if you have another source of light.  I got my fairy lights from Target.com.  The LEDs are the best because they waste less energy and they never freaking burn out (unlike the cheap ones I got last year that burnt out after 2 months).  In terms of collages, my favorite magazines have been Martha Stewart Living and any type of travel or house decorating magazines.  I think I'm going to branch out and add some running magazines to the mix so I can add articles and recipes to the wall.  I really want to try making a recipe wall.

Hello from Arizona

Okay, so the weather is 97 degrees outside, and it's supposed to be 107 today (insane, I know).  It's summer vacation for me and I've been thinking of blogging for a while.  The original idea is to create a blog about decorating for transitory living (aka, apartments/dorm rooms/people moving every 1-2 years like I have been for a while).  I'll probably also post about random crafts, since I am still figuring out the knitting/sewing thing.  Okay, so, we'll see how this goes.

Some things about me:
Hi, my name is Chloe.  I am officially a senior in college.  I am studying public health.  I plan on going to graduate school, which, you know, also involves studying and taking the GRE and stuff.  We'll see how that goes.  I love decorating and designing, but most of my ideas just end up on pinterest with nowhere else to go.  Here's to hoping I actually do something with my ideas.
